The Research Policy of the Institution aims to realize the vision and mission of the college and to identify research areas of academic streams which are socially relevant thus contributing to national development. It also aims at ensuring that the research activities of the Institution adapt to all relevant rules and regulations of the affiliating University and UGC as well as to the established standards and norms relating to safe and ethical conduct of Research.
Research and developmental activities helps to generate and distribute new avenues in knowledge, promotes innovation and will motivate better learning and teaching among faculties and students of Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women, Salem. Research is the basis of knowledge that transports new energy, builds state of the art facilities, promotes research publications, develops collaborations and becomes part of active community that shares the mission objectives. Taking these into considerations, Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women, Salem outlines and executes its Research Policy.
