The main aim of NCC is unity and discipline. NCC has a pivotal role to play as an organisation. It promotes overall personality development. NCC gives a tremendous opportunity to one and all for betterment. Our troop consists of fifty NCC cadets and one associate NCC officer, under the guidance of 11(TN) Sig coy, NCC, and Salem-16.
Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women, NCC Troop programmes have many activities during an academic year. Activities available to students comprise of theory in terms of B certificate exams in second year of UG programme and C certificate exam in third year of UG programmes, as well as practical sessions and Yoga. Several camps of different categories are conducted by our unit across the academic year. We encourage our students to become fully involved in the NCC Programmes in order to take advantage of the opportunities being offered. The students acquire leadership qualities and discipline through NCC.
